Multiple problems with my engagement ring - discontinued engagement ring

My fiance purchased my ring from Leroy's in Bowling Green KY in July and I received it in September. Since September, we've had to send the ring off 4 times and it takes 2 weeks each time! It's actually being fixed right now. They might actually have my ring more than I do! This is the 3rd time its been sent off for one specific side stone. It's always either loose or missing! The last time they sent it off, we told them to make sure to fix it correctly. Sadly, my ring came back altered and in my eyes ruined. It looks nothing like what it did before and I hate it, but they claimed there was nothing they could do about it! By the way, we've been sending it off through Lexington KY because that's where we currently live. The employees in the store are nice, but not very helpful. They told me if I have to send it off one more time for a stone that I could get a new ring which I don;t want because of the sentimental value and we had our band custom made to this ring! Even if I did decide to get a new ring, they can't even put a price on mine. They have to give us a price every time they send it off and there's been anywhere from hundreds of dollars in decrease to over a thousand dollars in decreased price. This in my opinion is ridiculous. So if they were to give me a new ring, it would be a definite downgrade which is despicable in my opinion. He spent thousands of dollars in there and you can't even offer us a comparable ring in return for the trouble this ring has put us through? I'm just extremely disappointed in the store (s) and that's all there is to it. All they want is their money, they obviously care nothing about keeping their customers happy.
