Took the car in to have the transmission serviced, driving home, started to smell gasoline fumes inside the car. When we got home we had a mechanic look at it, he said when they put the car on the lift to service the transmission, the lift damaged the fuel pump module creating a gas leak. The car lot offered to fix the problem for $300.00 but that they would give us a discount of $100.00. If they were not responsible for the damage, why offer a discount. Now they are avoiding my calls and wont even call us back to discuss the damage, its our only vehicle and the gasoline vapors are making us nauseous not to mention the danger of it catching on fire or worse.
