Remanufactured Phone Sent as Replacement for New Samsung With Same Problems

Purchased a Samsung phone new and had problems, T Mobile sent me back a remanufactured phone and I am having problems that have been very well documented. Basically I was told that they would do nothing for me. How can a company send me a remanufactured phone when I purchased a new one?
