Walmart
Customer Service, Product Availability, Condition of Store and Products

Miscellaneous

The Walmart on University in Denton, Texas needs to step it up. I have been double charged for items numerous times and have to watch carefully to make sure that the checkers are not charging me twice. I have purchased items and driven 30 miles home only to discover the expiration date expired days or weeks earlier. I have had to stop checkers from destroying items as they bag them (ie, a lampshade). I've gotten home and found items crushed and beat up when they were not in that condition prior to being bagged. I often can't find items that should be available (ie, grapes in the summer). Bread has dried out because of the tears in the bag. Today, as I shopped for produce, there were no plastic bags for meat, apples, etc... Really??? I asked an employee for a bag and was told by several nearby employees that they were out and people had been asking all day. I'm surprised at the poor service in a store that serves a fairly large population of people that have to drive 30 miles or more to shop. Seems like they would be more interested in supplying their customers and have better business sense. I'm trying to feed a family, but can't say that the waste is saving money. If I get it home and it is spoiled or I have to leave and go elsewhere using up gas to find items somewhere else or return them, maybe I should shop somewhere else to begin with.
