I hired a luton van from 8am to 8pm in february, they took a £500 deposit which should have been paid back within 8 days of hire. With it being a business, it was not checked to see if the £500 deposit had been returned until i noticed on the 7th july that £500 had been taken from the bank again, i had not hired a van on that occasion, the money had been taken without my consent. I phoned to talk to a1 van hire and the phone was finally answered at 5.05pm on the 20th july and after i explained everything to a very unhelpful man was told i would have to ring back to talk to their accounting people who only work from 10-5pm, i have rang them every day since and nobody ever answers.
