Payment Raised From $611 to Over $1,460 After $4,500 Fees

Midland Mortgage used unfair and illegal practices to obtain fees while threatening foreclosure, and after $4,500 in fees were paid they raised my mortgage payment from $611 to over $1,460 each month. That is more than double.

Tara Cooper, a supervisor, refused to disclose in writing what the fees were for, a clear violation of law. Much of this was over the speaker phone while I was sitting in the office of Credit Counseling Services of Broken Arrow, OK. The representative, Dinnis Reicher, just could not believe what they said.

In closing, I feel I was denied full disclosure as required by law, and they doubled my payment for 6 months. What happened to Obama's new rules and programs?
