Ripoff rights violation unlawful theft

In February I received a call from Irwin Mortgage, telling me I was behind in my payments. After a lengthy call, it turned out they did not post my July payment.instead, they took my August payment and applied it to July then charged me late fees. They did the same up to the February call. Five times, I sent them copies of my payment.in April I received a letter from Midland Mortgage stating they purchased my account from Irwin. Between April and October I received random calls telling me I was late with my payments. Evertime, I explained what happened and I sent them copies of my payments from June to December. I was told they are still investigating it.in October I sent, via Certified Mail, to the CEO of Midland Mortgage, copies of my payments. I never heard back from Midland.

In the meantime, I continue to make payments to Midland. Two weeks ago, I get the standard call from Midland telling me that I am 6 months behind with my payments. I informed Midland that I have always made my payments on time and I never heard back from their CEO regarding my dispute. I was told Midland stopped accepting my payments because the late fees being added each month exceeded the amount they would accept from me and they they returned my payments to me. I informed them no payments have been returned and my checks are being cashed. It appears only the money orders I send are allegedly being returned but they are not. This Friday, I received a letter from Midland, stating they sent my account to a Florida attorney to foreclose on my home. It makes no mind that I have been paying my loan from the beginning, and on time. They ignore the copies of my payments and add illegal fees so that they can jusitfy their illegal actions.

From the many filings here, it appears Midland buys peoples loans, then plays games with the payments. Then they stop accepting payments in order to foreclose and sell the home for a quick return on their investment. It appears the State and Federal Government allows these actions to continue with what appears to be a clear violation of the law by Midland in order to steal people's home from under them. I hope there is an honest attorney that is willing to take our case to put these people out of business so that they do not ruin people's lives.
