My husband and I called Amerigas Propane to get information on purchasing a propane tank. The salesman, Carl had told us that once payment for the tank was received that we would here back from the company within a week about scheduling an appointment to get the tank installed. Sure enough a week went by and we heard nothing. So we called and Carl was not available. The receptionist said that it would be 4 to 6 weeks until they even had a tank for us. We were shocked since we were under the impretion that we would have it shortly after payment was received. It's been 5 weeks since we ordered the tank and still we have heard nothing from the company and we have tried contacting them several times about our tanks status. I would never recommed purchasing anything from this company unless you like spending hundreds of dollars and having no one contact you.
