Circuit Board breaks every year - Trane XL19i

Your unit was sold to us by one of your local authorized dealers boasting it to be the Cadillac of HVAC systems. We had a 1996 Rheem system that was defective when we bought our home. We replaced the system, all duct work, and added a Trane Clean Effects whole house air cleaner for good measure as we are in the worst area in the country for allergy problems. The system was installed in 2007 and within 2 months the circuit board was fried. It was replaced and has been replaced again every year since, except for 2011. It went out on us again yesterday July 3. Every other time it has been on a holiday or weekend as well causing us not only discomfort in the SC summer heat, but also having to rearrange our plans. (We were supposed to have a family BBQ here today) I would like to know what Trane plans on doing to compensate us for five summers of hassle and discomfort. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and the Dept of Consumer Affairs and I expect monetary compensation for for the countless days spent suffering due to owning an inferior system that is advertised and billed as the best. 10 year warranty or not, our neighbors have Goodman, Bryant, and other less celebrated brands that never go out summer in and summer out. I will NEVER purchase another Trane product nor will I ever recommend Trane to anyone in the future.
