Miscellaneous

The company runs the site "www.us-immigration.com" which appears to be part of the government, or affiliated to the government citizenship application process. They purport to verify your application, in this case it was the N400 form, and submit the application. The form entries would be checked but you would still need to submit the application yourself. Do not pay for this. The N400 form is free - only use website addresses that end with. Gov, the necessary forms can be downloaded free of charge. My biggest concern is that the form contains a lot of personal information such as name, DOB, maiden name, SSN, address and phone number - what is to stop them using these details in a fraudulent manner? The amount shown is 2 x $189, for two applications. We are following this up with the credit card company, who should be able to refund the amount if AIC do not refund the charges.
