I downloaded a program PC Cleaner Pro, supposedly free, but when I tried to use it they charged US$ 29.97 (not free) which I was willing to pay and did. I installed it and when I tried to use it said that I needed to obtain a code by calling a toll free number. When calling they answered by offering some kind of technical help and asked permission to get into my computer and said they could fix my problems with the OS windows XP for a charge of $ 255 which I (stupidly agreed) and gave them my Credit Card. They immediately charged my credit card for that amount. The supposed technician tried to force me to say I was satisfied with the improvement in my OS speed to which I answered that I needed some time to use the computer and see if it had improved the performance. They made the situation worse by corrupting all my programs (MS Office etc.) and erasing other stuff. The supposed technician used only programs that are available for free in the internet like CC cleaner, Malware Byte, etc. On Monday I called them And asked to refund the 255.00 plus the 29.97 for the program and I have not received the credit yet.

This is a ripoff if I ever encountered one, they use a hard sale technique.
