I had a couple of men stop by my salon a year ago. They gave me a quick over view of what their company did, which was made ads to put on a screen in the local pharmasave. They made it sound all great. So I signed with them under the assumption I could cancel within the month if i was un happy with their services. I had to give them a check for over $200 for the proof of the ad. After a week or so i noticed the check went through but i still had no ad. I called multipul times to ask about the ad. Finally after several weeks i got my first ad proof. I replyed right away to the artist that i was not happy with the ad and thanked them for their time but that i would not be using their services. They responded with an email stating that i had no choice that i had a legel binding contract. I told them their people who came into my salon told me i had a month but i didnt get the first proof before that month. That wasnt my fault. I called multipul times before the month was up. I explained to the customer service department of my delema and she was not carring at all. She said i would just have to deal with it and pay the money. Now i was getting even more mad. It was one thing for me to hate the ad and the begining of the customer service of them not sending me the ad in time, now i have a customer service rep telling me i have no choice. That i will have to deal with it. I made it very clear that she could call my lawyer and i would not be using their services and to stop taking payments out of my account. They continued taking money out of my account so i had to close my buisness account and open a new one just to get them to stop. I was out all the money for all the checks i had already purchased for the old account along with the hasel of contacting all my pre existing companies who had my approval for withdraws. It was months before i heard from them again. I got an email of a proof for an ad that wasnt even for my salon. I emailed them back to inform them they had the worng email. They responded that i was the right person. I told them again to call my lawyer because i wanted nothing to do with their company. It has been over half a year that i hadnt heard from them and all of a sudden i got a bill in the mail stating i owe money to their company. I called right away and talked to a rep. She informed me again that it was a legal contract and that they have every right to do what they want with my business. She said there was an ad up in a business representing my company that i had no idea about and did not approve of. She said i had to pay it or she would send my debt to collections which would make me look bad. Then she proceded to explain to me that they have lawyers and they would make my life hell (lack of a better phrase). She wouldnt listen to me the entire conversation. Everytime i would say a word she would talk over me and tell me how they own me.By the end of the conversation i had to give her my lawyers name and phone number. She continued to bad mouth me so i had to hang up the phone. I guess the lawyers with have to take it from here.
