Vontage nightmare!

I am in a total state of disbelief! I have fullfilled my year contract with this company, and I no longer need their service.
However, when I tried to cancel they told me I actually had to pay one more month to fullfill me contract.
I knew this was not correct, however, I did go ahead and pay them for one more month.
I called again this month to cancel and I was told once again that I had to pay one more month as this was necessary to fullfill my year's contract.
I was angry before I called them as they put me through a rediculas cancellation the last time that didnt work. Now, I am getting fureous!
I know they are lying as I know when I took out the contract with them.
I told the customer service that I wanted to speak to her manager and she told me she was the manager... LOL what a laugh. I told her I didn't care what she was she better let me talk to someone right now!
She kept telling me she would give me a FREE month service and them my contract would be up and then I could cancel.
I told her I didn't want her free months service and just cancel my account. I (using some choice words now)
She kept repeating herself and trying to tell me she was doing me "A FAVOR"!
I told her I was the customer I was the one doing them a favor for ever have given them my business in the first place. (I AM IN SALES MYSELF)
I finally ask her if I took her free month of service if I would have to call back AGAIN!!! And go through all this hassle. She said yes...
And she gave me this magic number to suposable call...
I am going to report them to the FCC right now and BBB and I will call them the next day after my free month begins.
I hate to get a lawyer, but I surely will if I have too. I would much rather pay for a lawyer than to ever pay these crooks one cent.
Be sure to fight this company as we MUST get them out of business.
