I returned a purchase of gucci sunglasses with the original sales receipt the next day after purcase they were a gift so the sales person or cashier issued me a gift card for the original amount of purchase.
However the gift card he issued me was not the same gift card number on the receipt and was never validated.
So when i went to use the card for a $1100 purse on 6/4 the card would not go thru because it was never validated.
Gucci's gift cards are under lock and key so there is no way for a consumer
to take there own gift card, therefore this is fraud on the cashier of the store
and i the consumer should not have to be imbarassed because the card was not validated.
