Miscellaneous

I was a fool who clicked on a banner for a free trial of Mineral Elements. Shortly after I filled out the order for my trial, I received an email from Mineral Elements stating what the purchace price of the product would be. There was NO WAY I was going to pay that amount for makeup, so as soon as the package arrived, I sent it back unopened. I called customer service and pressed "1" for a quick cancellation. Little did I know that by selecting the fast cancellation service, I was also agreeing to keep the product at a reduced price. I called and spoke with a service rep the next time I called. (immediatly after) The service rep was cocky and told me that I had entered into a contract to keep the product and that even if I had returned the unopened package, I would still be charged. He stated that in order to return unused products, the customer would have to request a form as well as pay for the return shipping. Never were these policies stated when ordering the "trial". The entire structure of the business is based on fradulant statements and deceitful marketing. They are unethical and the way that I felt cheated and even stolen from; this experience has me very skeptical of on-line purchases of anykind.

Fellow buyers: Do not even "try" this product!!!
