My husband is ill and needed a new Soc Sec Card to get a Driver's Licence renewed. When it said we could apply online to avoid long lines, although I thought $48 was alot of money—it was worth it that he didnt have to spend all day in line at the Soc Sec office.
We paid the money & received the form & mailed it to the Soc Sec Office.
Today my phone rings & it is the Soc Sec office. She says it's against the law3 to request a Soc Security card in the mail & we got ripped off. He still has to go wait in line!!
