I got the same letter others have reported. I was so excited because the check was REAL. It was a real check, not one that had any restrictions on it. The letter stated I was a part of a mega lottery held in March, the lottery was for 3 million but I had won in the second category for 150,000 and this check was for the first installment. It is a scam. You call the number to claim the rest. You are told to give them a credit card number for the taxes which is almost 2 grand and then you cash your check and the rest of the money will follow. When you cash your check the bank returns it and you find out it is fraud and not real.

Please do not be fooled. Any winnings such as this would not come in the mail - no matter how real it looks. A check like that would come certified for your signature.
