Consumer Report

Rec'd an envelope with Canadian postage and a black & white Home Depot logo on it, containing a check for $3,980.00. Check was from Mid-State Supply in Wautoma, WI and drawn on "Cole Taylor Bank Yorktown" (both are legit businesses in the US) with a letter stating I had won the MEGA LOTTERY in UK. Letter advised that check was to cover government taxes for my $150,000.00 winnings and not to attempt to use the check until I called the claim agent, Michael Dundas and that I should "keep this winning confidential until the claim has been processed." I had also rec'd an e-mail appx. 2 weeks earlier regarding winnings from a MEGA LOTTERY in UK, but ignored it due to the odd grammatical language used. The same type of language was used in this letter. Found all of the scam reports from this website when I Googled "Beaumont Investment Group" and decided to just report it instead of checking any further.
