Washer and dryer order back ordered twice, no loaner offered

I purchased a washer and dryer pair back on April 3 online via Home Depot. I paid for them with a credit card. At the time of purchase, I was told my washer and dryer would be delivered by April 26. When 4/26 came, a customer service rep called and told me that my order was on back order until May 6. If you could imagine living without a washer and dryer for over a month. And now they called again to let me know that my order is on back order again until June 2.

This time I could not wait any longer. I called Home Depot to see if they had a loaner pair I could use while waiting for my order to arrive, but they do not offer this option. They offered to send me another model that has very bad customer ratings, which of course I cannot accept.

So, for more than a month they have had my money for their own problem, and they cannot offer me anything with a better rating in a washer and dryer set. I am very upset about this. Please help.
