Gift certificate text scam despite do-not-call registration

Got a text saying I also had won a $1000.00 gift certificate which would of been nice could of used it for birthday gifts but like everyone else it turned out to be the same scam. It's a shame this is allowed especially when my number is on a do not call list for advertising etc.
