Breach of warranty by Travelpro international

Thank you for opportunity to discuss our problem. A while ago we purchased two pieces of the most expensive luggage at the Bay store in oak ridge of vancouver bc as it came with life time warranty. Product went under the name Platinum. Which represent top product with life time warranty. Travelpro luggage failed its advertising and broke during trip to LA. As we phoned Travel pro customer service and explain our cituation we had been prommised as long we can send the luggage to repair facility it would be taken care of it as it was Platinum series. As it was inconvienent for us to ship luggage in LA we asked if it would be ok to bring the broken luggage to the place of purchase. Upon return to Vancouver we did take it to The bay. The luggage was sent to unauthorized outlet who mention it cannot be repaired without a ground for the statement. We picked up luggage and took it to another authorized repair store where we had been informed that luggage cannot be repaired as parts required are not made any longer by manufactory. We fill this is problem of manufactory and in no way our as consumers.in reviews of Travelpro international we also read complaints from other consumers in regards to poor customer service by supplier. We called customer service director and we fill we received very rude responce. We fill it was a spit into customer face when they offered as "goodwill" for us to purchase a rebuilt unit without warranty??? For High price. It was a Breach of Warranty. As thePlatinum luggage carry full life warranty we are asking to respect advertised policy of Travelpro and provide replacement with a full warranty for no additional charge. We hope that manufactory will stay behind advertising and honortheir warranty. Thank you so much.
