No warranty what so eve

I purchased a home air conditioning unit from Thomas Somerville Company. I owned it for 1year and 6 months. I had a problem with the unit and called a local heating and air conditioning company to diagnose the problem. They said the unit had a leak in the coil which lead to the compressor not getting enough oil and locked up. Thomas Somerville said I didn't report it soon enough so they could warranty the product. I played phone tag with the big Northeast division rep and got the run a round from October to December. The whether got cold and I had to buy another unit and get it installed. I contacted the BBB and they received the complaint 12/16. I gave up thinking Thomas Somerville was going to replace the unit, or even the coil and compressor only. They sell these products and need to back them up!
