Recently purchased an airline ticket through Orbitz from North Carolina to Dhaka, Bangladesh. Three separate airlines, 28 hours of travel - I was willing to endure for the price. One piece of misplaced luggage by the airline and we missed our flight from from Beijing to Kunming, China. 24 hours sleeping in the Beijing airport and the finally booked us on a flight through Bangkok. A 28 hour travel time turned into almost 42.

Since we were not on the flight from Beijing to Kunming, they canceled our return flight asking "how can we expect you to return when you never went in the first place".

Here I sit in Dhaka with my son and his famly - wasting 12 hours on the phone on hold in the early morning hours because we are on opposite sides of the world. My vacation is being wasted.

Orbitz refuses to assist in finding a flight home. Numerous agents, numerous log notes, numerous calls and still they will not assist.

As the agent who sold us the tickets - they should be responsible for helping us to resolve the issue. We have been told by all three airlines that Orbitz is the issuing agent and they (and only they) can correct this issue. Who does Orbitz want to solve the issue? Me. And they want me to make the calls.
