The called my business asksing for my 80 yr old Mother. They told me show owes them money on a loan. I asked for paperwork and they said they don't have it as they are "green"

I was contacted at my place of business regarding my mother. I was told that 2-years ago my 80 year old mother took out a loan with them and owes them money. I asked for paperwork and they told me they are a "green" company and do everything on line and have no documents. I told them to leave me alone. I would like to know how they got MY phone number at work and how they associated my mother and I? This company is scary and the person I talked to was very rude. Help!
