LivingSocial Nightmare - Advertising and imaginary powe

Miscellaneous

I received a cold call from a young lady from living social who explained what they were all about so i agreed to meet with the sales woman for more info. She gave me the whole sales speech and i was very interested with running but wanted to wait a few months to sign up due to wanting to give a little time to review the company. Everything seemed peachy and the lady said she would be in touch. A few weeks go by and I get a call asking if she can stop by because her manager was riding along with her so i agreed thinking it would be nice to meet the managers and see how the place works. The manager was an absolute nightmare rude, abrasive, undermining of the original sales consultant. I had every intention of signing up in a few weeks like i disclosed originally but the manager pushed and pushed that it needed to be done now. I signed up that day half for the fact that I wanted her to shut her mouth and the other fact that the original sales consultant apologized over and over and as the manager walked out, and seemed embarrassed. The manager proceeded to go outside and talk on the phone while we went over some things. Due to the fact that my business has surveillance (posted sign that your under audio and video on premisses) i decided to review the tapes after they left and listen to the audio of the manager outside. Her phone conversations about how her employees were worthless in closing deals by them selves and she had to do everything for them because they are useless without getting their hands held. Evidently this company being young has gone to just promoting these people that happened to get with the company early to be "managers" The original marketing consultant was ten times better at selling the product then she was. Being rude and making it seems like i have no option is no way to sell just a heads up. After that pleasant experience it took them 4 times to get my deal right because it kept getting denied for one reason on another. When it finally ran 3 of my customers either got double charged on their credit cards or triple charged and the customer service to get that resolved was horrible. I paid the one lady out of my pocket for the inconvenience because she is a single mother and doesn't have money to waste being triple charged.in my 13 years a a business owner i have never EVER had such a horrible experience the only person who i can say went above and beyond helping me and being polite was my sales contact L we will use an initial to save here from being tied to this horrible business in the future. Donna the woman who was supposed to be the manager needs to take a step back and think about how she treats people who are in her words "her employees". Just a little ti-bit of information for y'all the manager Donna said this company only promotes the best of the best businesses, they vet those businesses through online reviews and their Facebook page. Judging by the horrible reviews living social has on just about every page including their Facebook page they wouldn't even have a good enough reputation to run. - One completely disappointed business owne
