Office manager provided the single worst customer experience I have ever had in my life

Miscellaneous

Denied me access to my unit and demanded a cash bribe! Office manager provided the single worst customer experience I have ever had in my life. Combative, rude, and confrontational. I was not at all past due or late on my account but the power-hungry manager who acted like a prison warden thought to try and take advantage. The whole debacle was a terrible waste of valuable time and energy that served neither them nor me.

I complained on the corporate level and asked them to give me an amount of time that they would need to make it right and I agreed to that amount. The only action they took was a single phone call which I missed, returned during business hours, and left them a message including contact information. At the time of writing this post it has been over a week past the agreed amount of time and no corrective actions or gestures have taken place nor has my phone call been returned. Clearly my complaint was not taken seriously or seen as a priority.

The guys who helped me move my stuff were excellent absolute salt of the earth (particularly the senior mover guy there who was very impressive and who I cannot say enough good things аbout: Excellent interpersonal skills, clear respect for belongings people and rules for good business. Excellent manager of the other movers, excellent sense of customer experience, he had a tough job and was managing multiple projects. Other managers would have needed twice as many employees to keep the customers happy... He is clearly an absolute friend to anyone he works with and seemed to me to be the glue that held the place together and kept the customers happy). However, the basic professionalism and business ethics of said management are seriously compromised. They're highest standard seems to be what they can rationalize to be not quite illegal. Horrible experience!

I am a very loyal customer to all of the people, businesses, and services I use. I have never had the need to write a post about a business because I don't really have time to and I have always chosen continued loyal and patterned patronage forever as well as positive word of mouth over taking this much time to write a review. However, after this experience, I feel I have to inform other consumers and I am glad that there are so many venues to do so. I've resolved to make sure that I post this on all of the major ones by taking a few minutes each week to put this post up.

This is just wrong and other consumers need to know it.

The only positive I've seen out of this experience is reenforcement of my loyalty and the high-valuing of the good businesses I choose and recommend to everyone I know. It's experiences like this that separate companies from each other and that make one truly appreciate the good ones.
