I've never had such as bad experience booking through a third party. It was a nightmare dealing with agents on room stay.com. Conflicting information was given when asked if breakfast was included in my hotel reservation. I was told a yes one day and a no on another day. When an agent puts you on hold, you are literally holding for a good 10-15 min. You'll hear brief background music but when the music stops, you hear a dead silence and you wonder if your call is dropped or if you're still being put on whole. I've had it with room stay when I discovered a few days later that they've double charged me. I was told I've made an on-line booking but in actual fact my only booking was through an agent. How did this happened? Don't ask me why? What's puzzling is I didn't even get a confirmation through e-mail should I have booked on-line with room stay.com. I'm totally disgusted with how this third party conducts their business and highly recommend everyone to steer away from booking with this company. Agents can never be held acountable for their deceiving information given as agents are never identified by their number. Use other third party sites, if you have to or better still... Book direct through the hotel to avoid a $5 charge that room stay impose on bookings.
