RoomStays.com horrible

I went to several booking web sites and ended up booking a hotel for an upcoming conference on this site. I assumed it was like every other hotel booking site I have used. NO! They not only had a $9.95 booking charge (unheard of in this day and age) but also charged the entire thing up front. Considering this was a room for three people, who were all going to be paying on university accounts, this was a disaster. Since it was all charged on my one card, it all comes out of my account. Since it is prepaid and NOT REDUNDABLE at all — if I cancell they charge the full amount — I am stuck with the full charge.
