Last week, I went online to check a Car Vin Number, and I was told that for $2.95, I can access that information. It was suppose to be a one time fee.

Today, I found out that I am being charged $29.95 by "car vin checks in salt lake city utah - False Advertising for $29.95."

I immediately called my bank to cancel the pay... But it's in the process. The bank can't do anything for this one, but to let it process, and they told me to call back on Tuesday, and file a claim against fraud, and they will investigate and then refund me the money.

Please be aware that this is a scam... And you should never pay anything if they ask for money.
