Ventures - Gleam N Dream: zig zag strap

As a family, we have purchased Sketchers as our primary/day to day shoes for the past several years. My wife and I are currently wear sketchers. We purchased the Venture Gleam N Dream for our 5 year old girl last week. This shoe has been a complete nightmare. The zig zag strap bunches around the metal loops which causes the shoe to easily fall off. My little girl has fallen several times and has had pretty significant scrapes. She has become scared to run and play in the shoes because she does not want any more bo-bo's. As an avid supported and wearer of sketcher shoes, I am very disappointed with this model.
