Law office of Harris Zide Will not accept recorded calls

I received a letter the other day from the Law office of Harris Zide, Trying to collect a CC debit. The letter did not state who the the creditor was, the original creditor wrote off the balance, or what the amount owed was. They supplied a account number from the original CC company, the number they supplied does not show up anywhere on my credit reports. The original debit owed is past the SOL by 5 months. Well today I received a phone call from their office, I was told that the conservation was being recorded for quality purposed. I then informed the young lady that called, that I was also going to record the conservation for potential litigation purposes. She then told me that they do not talk on recorded conservations. I told her it was a two way street, If they could record me I could record them. I'm in the process of sending them a Debit verification letter as we speak. Some thing does not seem right here with a bogus account number, lie they are trying to get around the SOL.
