I purchased a computer from Hometown Computers on 2/10. Needless to say, I had problems with it the same week I purchased it. I did not get to take it back in for servicing until 2/22. Within the first week of purchase there were intermittent lines in the screen and the computer would freeze up, which would lead to me having to log off and then restart. After taking the computer in for servicing, Andrew made it appear as though the problem was caused by another anti-virus program that was installed. He speaks very loudly, as if to be intimidating; to prove his knowledge of computers and your ignorance. Well, I picked the computer up the following day and the problem still existed. I called immediately to let them know. They asked me to bring the computer back in. Mind you, this is the second time in less than two weeks for the same problem.in the interim I did download a music file, but that had no bearing on the problems with the screen. The problem was never corrected, so I feel I deserve some form of retribution in a refund of my money or another system to compensate for the poor device they sold me in the first place. The problem is the same as it was when I bought the computer. I was very irate about the way he spoke to me. He spoke to me as if I were an idiot and I do not appreciate that. I will never refer anyone to their place of business, and I most certainly would never patronize their place of business, I am one dissatisfied customer. I am missing assignment schedules in class, which the computer was supposed to eliminate.
