Hughes Net has earned my full attention to sue them! Contact me by email if you are interested. I can't be the only customer that was charged for internet service but was deprived of it due to" known" technical problems at the Hughes Net end of the service.

I had Hughes Net for 4 years. Not a week would pass without substantial loss of service due to technical deficiencies at their end. I watched and complaint during the installation of my dish, yet their technicians left without satisfying my demands not to locate the dish where it would have 1/2 its signal obstructed by my farm house. I was without service within the first week, so they sent me a new modem. That wasn't the problem. Technicians came to house and claimed they had found and corrected the problem. Days later I was without service. The modem was replaced 4 or 5 times, I spent an average of 6 hrs per week on the phone with their Tech Support representatives (tier 1 through tier 4). Service would not be available for days at a time. I give my word on the following: "I estimate that I had the ability to get on the internet and check email accounts or bank accounts less than 1 out of every 4 days." I routinely requested adjustments to my balance since my $90 payments were never late (automatic monthly charge to credit card), and I was not able to access the internet for the majority of any month. I would simply be redirected to Tech Support and my time wasted. I acted in good faith to contact several departments to address my concerns, but I never got anything but the run-around. After 4 years and plenty of warnings, I told Hughes Net that I would sue them for not applying credit to my account as an adjustment for the period of time I was left without service (didn't include weather related losses), and I demanded that they terminate my subscription immediately.

I make my decision to sue Hughes Net not simply for the purpose of recovering the fees associated with service interruption caused by failures with equipment and other technology not located at my home. I wish to sue Hughes Net by way of Class Action Lawsuit in order to punish a company when they have cheated me and other people to the degree that believe they have done. Not to do so would only make Hughes Net believe their deplorable practice is the best revenue model and would include me among the weak that resign to such victimization.
