Miscellaneous

I signed up to receive two face creams, one being Revitaderm, the other, Total Radiance, one costing £2.98 and the other £2.95. I would also receive a free eye care cream. The above amounts were all i thought I'd be spending. Well, on the 27th January, after the initial £5.93 had been paid on the 1st January, a further £79.99 was taken from my account. On the 28th January, a further £51.00 was taken, and on the 29th January, another £74.99. Horrified, i called my bank to stop any further transactions from Revitaderm. I was then shocked to hear that my bank was powerless to act for 30 days, due to me signing myself up to a shipping plan which must have been in the Terms and conditions that i hadn't seen and so hadn't read. I went straight to my e-mail to cancel this "contract", only to find that i couldn't access my e-mail account, which i have had no problem accessing before! After finally re-activating my e-mail account, i sent an e-mail to Revitaderm canceling anything that i had unknowingly signed up to. I was not optimistic after reading how others have been scammed with no reimbursements. Well, to my delight, the three transactions that i had not authorised, were paid back into my account! The only monies spent, was the initial two payments that i had agreed to pay. I only received one face cream as the other was smashed upon arrival. I hope others have a similar story to tell regarding reimbursed money..
