Late October I accepted a FREE TRIAL offer for some face and eye cream from Revitaderm, having to pay only for postage. I specifically de-selected the box for a monthly supply because I was planning a lengthy overseas trip and did not want to receive any goods whilst away.
The creams arrived late November, but since I was about to go overseas I never even opened them. During my absence in December and January two more parcels arrived. As soon as I returned to Sydney I checked my credit card statement and was shocked to find charges for approx. A$468 ($457.15 plus bank fees) for goods I had never ordered.
I asked my financial institution to cancel my credit card and the matter is currently under investigation.
