Child Support Fraud Internet

The week ending 2/5 I noticed my check was short. I later learned I had been garnished 255.75 for child support. I knew this was an error since I have custody of my only child and am 100% sure there is no possibility of another. When I called the payroll department I was told that they received an order from Support Collections Unit (SCU). I called SCU and they stated that I had two cases. I recognized the case number for the one. I was able to verify the information on the one I knew but then they asked me for my child's name on the other. When I said my son's name they said that is not the name they have on file and if I wanted to know the name I had to write the Albany office. My first thought was, I should have been notified by mail before any actions were taken right? So I called back Randstad payroll and was told by a woman there indeed was an error made and she had spoke with a man at SCU's fraud division. He stated that I would be refunded as soon as he received the money that was deducted from me. She also told me that she had this happen to few other people there and she suspected it had something to do with Randstad acquiring Technisource (who I directly worked for). She said that the system automatically does something with information with all SCU's when new hires are added to the system.

Another part of I forgot earlier is this was my 2nd to last check from them. So I am now unemployed.
So I accepted the mistake and have been waiting it out for a couple of days now. Until today! I discovered they froze my bank account as well as my son's. I would like to know if this happened to anyone else out there? I am thinking civil suit if there are. If not, I am definitely doing something about this. You can't even imagine the stress this mistake has me under! I had to cancel my direct deposit for unemployment and taxes as well as all auto debits. Someone is going to pay! I have, why shouldn't they?
