Robert did not honor guarantee

I bought a male maltese from Beach Bum Kennels on January 29th. I had contacted

"Robert" (the seller) a week earlier and set up a time to view the dog Friday,

January 27th. He cancelled because he had to go to a party and rescheduled for

The next morning. Then cancelled again and said he would meet us in Tabor City

In front of the old Dodge place. It was about 6:30P.M. And there were no lights.

Robert said he didn't want to put the dog down because he didn't want him to run

Off so my 8 year old daughter held him in the car. He went over the paperwork

With me since I couldn't read it in the dark and said there was a 72 hour

Guarantee as long as I took the dog to a vet within 72 hours written on the

Contract. However, he said I know it's impossible to get in to a vet within 72

Hours so as long as you see the vet within 2 weeks I'll still honor the

Guarantee. There was also a genetic defect guarantee for 2 years in the

Contract. He also said the price was $350.

When I got home with the dog,

It had a limp and wouldn't bear weight on the rear leg. It's breath was

Horrible. It trembled and ran from us when we put him down. I sent Robert a text

And e-mail letting him know these things. He stated the dog never had a limp
