Just like many others I am reading about I responded to a ad on craigslist for a 2006 honda civic. The ad stated that she was selling the 06 honda for $2790.00. What a Great Deal right? Not! I received several emails with lots of info on the car, including a fake carfax. This scammer said she was being sent back to Afghanistan and the car needed to be sold by february 13th because she didn't want it to sit in the back yard and get old. I tried several ways to complete the transaction with a credit card and I was told I must complete transaction with cash at a authorized western union agent. I just couldn't understand why ebay wouldn't accept a credit card so I decided to google ebay safe pay and thank God I did! I found out about the scam before I sent any money.
