Shady Repairman

Been with Service America for the last 3 years and the one time I call Service America for a faulty dishwasher, the repairman calls me the day before the appointment to see if he could stop by and check out the dishwasher. Completely, disregarding my initial request with a Service America agent stating that Friday will be the only time I would be home and that Thursday will not be possible.

On Friday at 8:30am, I receive a call from the repairman stating that they will be there in 15-20 mins. I told him, thats fine and my wife will be there. He arrives and outwardly asks my wife for $45.00. Stated that it was a co-payment and he had told me that over the phone and I agreed. Wife called me and I had made no mention of paying or even knowing of a co-payment for that matter. The repairman was a blatent liar and very dishonest. At the time, my wife did not have cash on her and he went on to say that he will not perform any repairs until he gets his $45 dollars and that we would need to reschedule our appointment and left! Horrible company. Once this contract expires, I will be sure to get a contract with another service company!
