Advertisement came up on my hotmail sidebar, i ordered a pair of boots which advertised 1-2 day uk delivery via royal mail. I waited thinking that with Christmas and new year deliveries maybe held up, but last week i e mailed them as my order was continually showing as processing. I tried to check out their information and contact us but the only page with any info was the one about gift certificates and what to do if you had a problem with them. This made me suspicious.
I have had no response to my e mail and sent a 2nd one stating that i would be reporting them as a possibly fraudulent company to trading standards and speaking to my bank about refund of monies paid but still no response.
I am not really up on all this and don't really know how to report internet fraud, or what to do about it. I am dismayed that they are able to advertise so widely and blatantly on major sites like facebook and hotmail.
I do have an order number and the funds went through a payment gateway called wedopay and have definitely been taken from my account. I would appreciate advice re what should i do next?
