Canasoil Construction contacted me about restoring items from a very old building. He arrived late on a friday requesting the restoration and left me with items. I informed him that it would be costly and take more time because of the hand workmanship required to do it correctly. After only a few days Canasoil contacted me wanting items done asap and telling me to keep cost down as he had already charged customer for the work.
After being hounded repeatedly about getting it done faster i contacted the customer myself and came to an agreement that whatever time it would take is ok and the price didn't matter as long as it got finished. A few days went by and Canasoil continued to hound me about getting them done and began to complain about the costs adding up. I informed them that the customer had agreed to this. This upset Canasoil and i was informed the work was to be done for Canasoil not the owner of the items. This being that Canasoils profit was now going to be less and perhaps had upset them. Canasoil continued to hound me about finishing the items for as cheap as possible. On the final day Canasoil had requested they be done now as they were needed asap. We finished the work and stapled the bill / invoice to the product. The product was stored on my property from that point on. Sometime during the following day while i was not home Canasoil came and took the product without permission and without payment. Shortly after that claimed the work was not good enough and refused to pay the bill. However he got paid for the product and got paid much more than it cost to do what was requested.in short Canasoil used us to get the work done cheap, charged way more and after they got paid ripped us off. Avoid this company at all costs.
