Ebates is a SCAM! Claims if the store has a promotion then you do not get ebates credit even though their website directs you to the store knowing they have a promtion

Ebates has become a total rip off. They advertise a store on their website 'knowing the store has a promotion going on and still advertises a 4% cash back'. This has happened with 2 different stores. After contacting them by email (4 times) I never heard anything back from them. Finally I got someone on the phone after 4 different attempts.

I spoke with a lady named Charlotte and then escalated my call to a manager who's was Michael. They both said they didn't get their commission because the store had a promotion going on. BS! The stores informed me they did because I contacted them.

Ebates plainly says on their website you will get your Ebates cash back on top of the discount the store offers. If that is not true, then they need to remove those stores from their list. I've used Couponcactus.com and never had any of these issues before. Shoppers beware before you trust Ebates.
