Miscellaneous

I came across the Ziinga site and it looked interesting. They offer free bids so I though why not. I therefor bid on a sensor coffee machine and to my amazement, I won it for a mere £13 plus delivery. I was then asked to pay for it which I did, using my Barclays Debit card. There was I recall a message that stated it could take 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. I waited and waited and then, when I recieved my bank statement, it showed the payment I had made to them but also another payment of £59.99. I question this with my bank telling them I had not agreed to this. I also emailed Ziinga only to be told that I had agreed to the 3 monthly charges of £59.99 each month to be a premium member which allows me to bid. I told them I did not want it but they said I had entered into a binding contract for 3 months and could not get out of it. I told them to cancel it but they would not budge and kept mentioning their T&C's. My bank have since allowed them to take another £59.99 form my account even though they are aware of the dispute. My bank have not refunded any money to me until they have carried out their investigation which I find difficult to understand. I have also been told by Ziinga now, that in order for me to get the coffee machine dispatched, I must give them a copy or scan of both sides of my card used to purchase and/or copy of drivers licence or passport and a valid utility bill. I do not understand that? That like me giving them everything they need to completely take away my identity. They are a fraudulant company and should be stopped.
