Never Keeps Appointments

I am on my third missed appointment with Service America. This last time, I was promised an appointment scheduled between 8:00 A.M. And 1:00 P.M. No arrival. No call. No reschedule for later in the day. I called to question this at 1:30 P.M. And was told they got no answer when they phoned. When I asked for the number on their records, she read it wrong. They made a typo on the service order form. However, when the service man called in to report this, it seems that between the phone tech and the service man, neither one were smart enough to think of checking their records in the computer. They had two numbers listed correctly when looking in their computer.

They refused not send out a technician anytime later in the day, and told me the next appointment they would reschedule me for was a Sunday between 8 A.M. And 5:00 P.M. Now, I would have the opportunity to waste another entire day, except it would be on the weekend instead of stealing my salary. I told the clerk this was unacceptable to keep someone home and entire day, make them call to question the problem, and refuse to shuffle their appointment schedule to keep the one they had originally scheduled. I did not believe this was part of their contract. I could not afford to miss anymore work to accept one of her weekday appointments. She suggested I leave my keys outside so the tech would have access to the inside of my home to fix the A/C unit! I said she was out of her mind, and not to lie, that no one in their right mind would do such a thing. I told her he would have a good time getting around the alarm too. She said her customers turned their alarms off to solve that problem. I'm sure they have a butler to answer their door for them too!

It has been a waste of time at my job, at my home, and money that will not be in my paycheck at the end of the week. I will be charged for the service fee when they finally do visit. Very convenient for them. Huge waste of time for me.
