I called a toll free number to activate a tracfone and was answered by Assist 123. They offered me a 100.00 gift card for Walmart for a fee of 3.95. After questioning and eventually accepting the offer, I was cut off. I went into my phone and hit redial to question what their service was and was answered by a recording notifying me that the number had been changed to a 900 number. I called the original number a while later and was again answered by Assist 123! I questioned them and was told that they never got my info so I would need to give it again. This time the fee was 2.95! I declined and went straight for google to find out that they were indeed a scam operation.
