I had a service tech in to repair our icemaker. A month later I deployed to Iraq and about another month later the icemaker was broken again. Six months later when I returned home, Sears told me that since it had been past 3 months, they would not honor the repair service. One year later, I finally relented and had scheduled another repair. After the first visit, it was going to cost me $378.00 in repairs for a six year old icemaker. They were supposed to come today, so I took the day off and when they never showed or called, they gave me a lame excuse that they had to reschedule and that they tried to call me, I was by the phone all day. Now, they want me to wait around on Christmas Eve! I retold my story about being depolyed, they could care less.
