I went to the store to pick up my on-line purchase. When ordering it stated to bring the credit card used to place the order, however it also stated that you 'could' pick up the on-line purchase w/o the credit card. I could Not bring the credit card because it was a "Virtual Credit Card." That is a credit card that is generated on-line each time you need a credit card. Thus no real plastic card exists.

Two issues, the clerk called her "manager" about me Not having the credit card. The "manager" said that I could not pick-up my purchase without the real credit card. I then asked to see the store manager. She said that she was the store manager! I then went to the parking lot and called Best Buy Corporate. Guess what! NO actual credit card was required. Corporate Called Repeatidly to the store and got no answer.

Finally the Corporate guy asked me to take my cell phone and go inside to find the store manager. I went inside and could not find Kirstin who earlier had identified herself as the store manager. So I handed the phone to Nathan and told him - "this is your Corporate Office." Nathan took the call and when finished handed me back the phone and said, "I will take care of this for you." He then stated that he did have to have "A manager" over-ride the computer which was asking if I had my credit card with me. The "manager" came over - Nathan simply stated that "He made the purchase with a virtual credit card." The manager went to the register, typed in what I guess was his password and a few other keystrokes, about 7 seconds total time and walked away. The Manager Never uttered one word. Transaction was completed. It however took its toll on me! I spent 47 minutes on the phone with Best Buy Corporate to straighten this mess out all because Kirstin did not take the time to understand the situation, or have the guts to handle the matter, and then lied to me that she was THE store manager. When in fact she was the shift manager in the Customer Service Department.
