I reluctantly gave my credit card number in order to download a movie about Andrew Jackson... in hope of helping my daughter better understand her American Studies lesson. I figured since the website was.net and not.com that it would be safe. I did not see anything indicating that my credit card would be charged... Much less on a reoccuring basis. I was charged $1.00 to download the "free" movie (which was falsely advertised in itself... The movie about Andrew Jackson was no where to be found). I was then charged $49.95 and then another $49.95 the following month. I just paid $. 99 to cancel the membership online. Why would anyone pay this outrageous monthly fee when netflix is $7.99 a month! Clearly fraud!
