Told my cash payment was a returned check, phone cut off

I paid my bill with tmobile and they told me that they didn't get my money cause my check was returned and I didn't even pay by check. I paid with cash and I called them. They told me that my check was returned and I told them I didn't pay with a check and now they cut my phone off saying I didn't pay them but I did pay them with cash. Now they are telling me I have to pay a late fee and a returned check fee and 200 so all together they want 586.98. So every time I call and ask them about my money I paid they hang up on me all the time
