We bought a car in 9/08 for $26,500 and to date we still owe $26,500 after 36 months of payments because all the payment is being applied to pay interest first with less than $75 per payment being applied to the loan.interest first loans are illegal in the state of Maryland and when I confronted Santander they stated they can apply the payments as they see fit. Stay away from Santander Finance Company aka Drive Financial!
